Located in a restored Victorian Home, Gardens
and Gatherings
is operated and family owned since 1990 by Joan Folgers.
Joan attended The American Academy of Art in Chicago.
She also has a degree in Horticulture and has attended
the American Floral Art School in Chicago, where she studied
Wedding Design. A passion for color and perfection and
an extensive knowledge of floral design have enabled Gardens
and Gatherings to produce the wedding that you have always
dreamed of at an affordable price.
Gardens and Gatherings also operate a wholesale and research
greenhouse for Ball Horticultural Company, in West Chicago.
This extension of the business enables them to provide a
great depth of product, some of which is grown just for
your perfect day! Plants and planters, European Gardens,
Geraniums and Poinsettias and plant materials from all over
the world can be custom grown to complete the look for a
glorious event. |
